The robust cutting robot IMS MICRO DRIVE can remove obstacles and open lateral connections after liner rehabilitation in main sewers and storm water pipes from 150mm in diameter to 400mm diameter. Cutting is particularly efficient due to the self-propelled carriage as well as the turning and swivelling movement of the cutting arm.
Remove blockages and roots that a high-pressure water jet cannot remove.
Operate in pipes from 50mm to 400mm in diameter.
Navigate multiple bends and diameter changes without damaging the host pipe.
Access the pipe through the same point used for pipe relining: one access point minimises disruption to your property.
Quite commonly, during the drain relining process, incoming junctions picking up other fixtures in the property (e.g. bathroom lines) will be lined over. Using a variety of robotic, branch line and air powered cutters, our Sydney relining experts can cut or ‘reinstate’ the junctions back into the main line.
Our highly trained technicians are able to reinstate junctions with exacting precision using our advanced robotic cutting equipment.
Robotic cutting is also very useful for removing stubborn blockages or obstructions in pipe work that high pressure water jetting isn’t powerful enough to remove.
